Based on the feedback and requests we’ve had from several of you, we’ve decided to implement several changes in uCONVERTas well as adding some new features.
- The option to choose which hand (left or right) you use most. The converter interface will adjust accordingly.
- The option to choose a most used/favorite category, this will appear at the top of the list of categories
- The option to choose whether the Favorites category appears at the top or bottom of the list of categories
- Italian language (it)
- Dutch language (nl)
- New units (more information on these soon)
Some of you have also reported problems with the shortcut/application icon quality in uCONVERT 2.x, so we’ll be looking into this.

It would be perfect, if your Application has the Haptic Feedback like other Apps at the HTC HD / HD2 Mobile.
I miss it when i enter digits.

Cool app, just bought it….wm has been missing an app like this. I think with the features your adding in 2.3 it will become real usable app, favorites needs to be at the top (else why is it a favorite), thats the most annoying one…I did have a couple other ideas, if youd like to hear them (if not just ignore them
):
1. Need quicker way to scroll through currencies..very time consuming now…perhaps like quick letter scroll A — Z like you can do in contacts on most phones.
2. On the conversion type selection…you shouldnt have to always slide it, if i tap on a conversion type thats in view..it should switch to it (most people are use to tapping on a selection..sliding is cool..but tapping is faster when the item is in view)
3. Ability to reorder conversion types..not just adding favorites but ability to customize the order they are listed in. Most of those conversions Ill never use..id like the ones Ill use listed first.
4. Not sure why you put speed and not distance. Distance is a much more common conversion requirement for me at least
